Software / Event Recorder
Log PLC digital events in real time and reduce troubleshooting time dramatically.
The Problem
Your plant is controlled by one or more PLCs. Something out of the ordinary happens. Production time is lost, or product is damaged or destroyed. What exactly happened? You spend a lot of time investigating — and may even end up resigning to "let's see if it happens again."
The Event Recorder System developed by Brigger & Associates is software that monitors the changes in values of PLC digital conditions in a PLC program — which we call Events. Events are logged to a Windows PC database from which they can be displayed.
A unique feature of the Event Recorder is that it monitors the values of digital conditions on every PLC scan. So no changes are missed — not even transitional ones.
In addition, multiple PLCs can be monitored at the same time — giving you one complete picture of your control system's activity.
