Software / Analog Recorder
Monitor temperatures, pressures & process values across multiple PLCs — live and historical trends.
What It Does
The Analog Recorder is software that allows you to monitor the values of your PLC analog points — temperatures, pressures, levels, etc.
It does this through a graphic that plots the values as a function of time. Up to 6 points can be plotted at a time, each in a separate color and a separate scale. Individual values along a plot line are displayed using horizontal and vertical sliders.
The Analog Recorder reads the values of specified PLC analog addresses and saves them to a database. The values can be displayed as they are read, providing a real-time trend of the data — and saved data can be displayed for a specified time and date.
Features
The analog points to be logged can come from multiple PLCs.
Analog points are logged every 60 seconds, continuously, while the system runs.
Logged values are stored for an operator-specified number of days.
There is no limit on the number of points that can be read and logged.
Plot up to 6 points at a time, each in a separate color and separate scale, with value sliders.
Logged values can be exported to a text file for analysis or reporting.
How It Works
1 — Analog Logger
Reads the analog values in the PLC and saves them to a database.
2 — Analog Viewer
Plots the saved data. The reason these are separate applications is so the Analog Viewer can be installed on multiple workstations.
Pricing
$1,200
Available for Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs — other PLCs are in the works.

Get Started
Temperatures drifting, pressure spikes, level deviations — catch them while they happen and analyze them after. The Analog Recorder gives plant operators and engineers a complete, searchable record of analog process data.
